What is  zen-gizmo doing?

Zen-gizmo is an implementation of the zendesk API for Zen Cart. The current Version supports remote authentication, listing of open requests and deep links into zendesk.

Remote Authentication

Zen-gizmo provides the answer for the remote authentication requested by zendesk. This provides the benefit of an automatic single-sign-on for zendesk by on-demand synchronization of user-accounts. The remote authentication mechanism is secure since no password is shared and an authentication token is used.

Open requests

Zen-gizmo lists open request for the given user with following details: Title, number of comments, date of last comment, deep link to the request

Deep links

Zen-gizmo is using deep-links into the zendesk application to directly access specific request, list of all requests and the form to submit a new request.
